The Village Bank's convenient touch-tone banking service is here! All accounts at the Bank are now part of The Village Line system. That means you can now handle your routine banking transactions just by picking up the phone.

 With The Village Line you can...
Check your current checking, savings or loan account balances
Transfer money between statement savings and checking accounts
Find out if a specific check has cleared
Hear a list of recent deposits or withdrawals
Find out how much interest was paid on your account
Obtain current loan rate information
Check the interest rate and maturity date of a CD
Find out the principal balance on a mortgage or home equity loan

Only one of The Village Line's many features - the transfer of funds between accounts - requires special action on your part. You must come into the Bank to specify the particular accounts between which you will be transferring.

All it takes is a touch-tone telephone, your account numbers, and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Simply dial The Village Line at (617) 630-1780 (Outside 617, 1-800-822-6539) and follow the prompts. That's all there is to it!

All deposits at The Village Bank are insured in full. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) federally insures deposits up to $100,000. In addition to FDIC insurance, all portions of deposits in excess of $100,000 are insured by the Share Insurance Fund (SIF) of the Co-operative Central Bank.
