David Minutelli is Service Excellence Award winner at The Village Bank

AUBURNDALE, MASSACHUSETTS, May 21, 2008 … David Minutelli is the most recent recipient of the Service Excellence Award presented by The Village Bank in recognition of outstanding performance.

The semi-annual award is bestowed on an employee who traditionally goes “above and beyond” to uphold the Bank’s commitment to the customer, according to Kenneth C. Brennan, The Village Bank president and CEO.

Minutelli, who joined The Village Bank in 2000 as facilities manager, received the Service Excellence Award at the Bank’s recent Annual Meeting held at Woodland Golf Club.

He was praised by Brennan for performance that consistently demonstrates “commitment to the customer,” as described in the Bank’s Preferred Banking Pledge.

“David’s dedication to The Village Bank and support of his colleagues at the Bank help ensure that we are able to meet our commitment to our customers and to the community,” said Brennan. “He consistently goes above and beyond in support of his co-workers, and this support translates into more effective, more efficient service for our customers.

“From taking care of the physical plant to ordering supplies and everything in between, David keeps the Bank and all of its branches running smoothly,” added Brennan. “He’s always there for us.”

Prior to joining the Village Bank team, Minutelli worked for 24 years as a contractor for Royal Design Builders, a firm specializing in building banks. As part of his job with Royal, he remodeled the Village Bank’s Auburndale office in 1992 and subsequently helped to build all of the Bank’s branch offices.

“When I was asked to join the Bank, I already felt that I was part of the family,” says Minutelli, who travels to his Newton job daily from his home in Newmarket, NH.
